Hello! My name is Chloe, and I am so honoured to be one of the co-chairs for C2C 2021! As an attendee last year, I was thrilled to engage in a weekend of celebration with other interdisciplinary learners - and I can’t wait, along with this amazing team, to bring this experience to you! Apart from interdisciplinary education and sustainability, some of my other passions include improvisational theatre, plants, and whales!

Hello! My name is Sharang Sharma and I am going to be one of the co-chairs for C2C 2021: Root to Rise! I'm in my second year of the Bachelors of Arts & Science at McMaster University and am also an international student coming from Bangkok, so this is my second year in Canada too. As a co-chair I will be looking over the running of the conference this year alongside Chloe and will be making sure everything runs smoothly, even in these turbulent times. I look forward to getting to meet all of you!

My name is Tess Vosper, and I use she/her pronouns! I am a second year Arts and Science student at McMaster where I am uncombined. This means I have the ability to take so many electives and courses that intersect and interact in many interdisciplinary ways! I am one of the three Logistics Committee members of the conference this year and help work out general budget, scheduling, speakers, and overall conference details and running plans. As for ‘about me’, I am a dancer and I am highly interested in the relationship between mental and physical health of athletes and artists.

My name is Grace Kim and I am â…“ of the Logistics subcommittee! As a member of this subcommittee, I am responsible for organizing the details of the C2C conference, such as creating the schedule, planning the events/activities, and arranging the speakers who will be presenting at this conference. As for a little bit about me, I like to collect shoes and browse through the Footlocker website. I also enjoy camping and going on hikes!

Hi! I’m Steph (she/her) and I’m a student at the University of Waterloo in my 2A term of Knowledge Integration! My position on C2C this year involves working with Audrey to reach out to schools and programs that we believe would be a great fit for this conference and to create a smooth process for ticketing and registration! A little bit about me: in my spare time I like to listen to music, watch dramatic law shows, and re-plan my entire degree!
Outreach Coordinator
Audrey Wu

As 1/2 of the outreach committee, I'm the liaison between various arts and science/interdisciplinary programs who will be giving updates on ticketing and logistics in the months to come. When not planning for the upcoming C2C conference, you can find me taking long walks in Hamilton's scenic trails, trying out new recipes, or most likely taking a nap.

I was recruited as an executive member last year when I was a student in McMaster’s Arts & Science Program, and since then I have transferred into Kinesiology at York University! Hi my name is Zahra, I am in Arts and Science level 2 at McMaster University and my pronouns are she/her. I am one of the fundraising coordinators for C2C 2021 and am looking forward to our conference coming up in March! A little bit about me is that when I am not studying or in class, I like to play field hockey.
Social Media Coordinator
Sophia Marchetti

School & Program: McMaster Arts and Science Level III (Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour), McMaster University
I’m one of the social media marketing coordinators along with my partner-in-conference, Lia! We plan, create, and post promotions for C2C as well as info regarding how people can get involved and register for the conference. So far, our main strategy is making aesthetically pleasing info posts and tik toks that we think are funny.
Fun Facts abt me: I’m the average height of a Canadian woman, I used to be the president of my highschool’s 5 person environmental club, and I spent my summer totally unemployed so I wrote a bunch of music and taught myself rudimentary piano!
Social Media Coordinator
Lia Fraleigh

Hello, my name is Lia Fraleigh (She/Her) and I am in my third year of the Arts & Science Program at McMaster University. My role as one of the Social Media Coordinators (accompanied by Sophie Marchetti) is to advertise the conference on multiple social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Sophie and I know that everyone posits many skills and we believe that those should be shared among others. So, in addition to advertising for people to attend the conference, we also encourage people to teach the sessions, especially those who are excited about sustainability and interdisciplinary learning! I am someone who enjoys photography, graphic design, psychology, and being out in nature, so this position has allowed me to expand my skill set and I'm so happy to help organize an event that encourages further learning on creating a more sustainable planet.
